# update device name

With this block you can update the name of a device.

- flow `flow`

- Connection required `aqaraconnection` An authenciated aqara connection

- Device ID required `value` The device ID of the device you want to change the name for.

- New name required `value` The new device name.

- flow `flow`

- Connection `aqaraconnection` The aqara connection.

- Success `condition` If successful, this pin returns true.

- Error `value` Error message if the name could not be updated.
